CREAR is developing two courses to be offered annually. These will be taught in Spanish and English. The targeted audiences are Peruvian students (preference will be give to those performing thesis on Amazonian topics) and international students from all universities around the world.

  • INGENIERIA DE RIOS, June 2011 (In Spanish): this course was taught by Dr. Jorge D. Abad to Peruvian Navy officers and participants from other institutions such as Senamhi and the National Port Authority. This two-week short course served as a pilot program consisting of theoretical classroom lectures augmented by a practical portion onboard Navy vessels performing measurements in various locations along the Amazon River.
